These days Vidya Balan is looking far prettier than she has ever looked. Her intense eyes sparkle with mirth, and her wide smile tells the story of a gratifying existence. Vidya, in her own words, is “herself” these days and has quit being someone else. May be that’s making the difference!

In a candid interview with Spicezee’s Swati Chaturvedi in her celebrity chat show ‘Kahiye Janab’, Vidya Balan opened up about her upcoming film ‘Ishqiya’, romance with Shahid Kapur and love for SRK.

Swati: Vidya, you are doing a film called ‘Ishqiya’, which is about ‘Ishq’(love) but what about real-life love?

Vidya Balan, who is considered to be the most down-to-earth and tantrum free actress refused to shoot for one of the songs of her upcoming film ISHQIYA since she felt it was too raunchy for her.

It’s learnt that Vidya Balan was supposed to shake a leg with her leading men Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi in the film. The song is the remake of the popular number from the ‘7o’s film KITAAB. But, when Vidya found the song to be too raunchy she refused to go ahead with the shoot.

The actress who has recently been in news for her newly acquired svelte figure is busy shooting for AB Corp’s Paa that hits theatres on the fourth of next month.

Balan is essaying the role of a mother whose son has a rare disorder, progeria wherein he ages abnormally fast.

In the movie she was expected to carry a boy on her shoulders. Apparently, the boy weighed as much as she and Vidya could not hold herself in place and tumbled.

After the fall Balan continued shooting and wrapped up the shot.

Once being termed as a home-wrecker, Vidya Balan seems to have learnt her lessons the hard way. The actress has walked herself to safe distance from Bipasha’s baby John Abraham and is declining to do any films with the macho actor.Even as John dared to snub girlfriend Bipasha’s pleas demanding him not to work with Vidya and signed a film featuring the heavy weight actress, his daring act proved futile as the dusky beauty refused to be a part of the film.According to Spicezee sources, John was all set to romance Vidya onscreen in David Dhawan’s forthcoming ‘Hook Ya Crook’. The film that is touted to be a comic caper was going to bring together the much famous ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’ couple, but the plans went haywire as Vidya decided to opt out of the flick quoting unsubstantial role as reasons for her refusal to do the film.A news daily even quoted a source as saying “Vidya is not doing UTV’s ‘Hook Ya Crook’. Vidya felt that after Salaam-e-Ishq, she and John needed to do a film, which had substantial roles for both.
