Whoever thought that B-town’s damsel Vidya Balan is lacking all the recognition that an actor needs may have to re-think.

A section of media reported that Vidya Balan is finding a lack of recognition overseas especially in US. But as per other section of media Vidya Balan’s popularity has increased by leaps and bounds. The actress who is currently holidaying in US with one of her friends was recently greeted by a few American officers, who had overheard some Indians talk about Bollywood’s famous actress Vidya Balan. The officers immediately stopped Vidya, while she was passing by. At first she was bewildered and didn’t know what’s happening around. But was amazed to discover when the officers asked her to pose with them and she willingly did it.

After being in the thick of work for two years, Vidya Balan just had a well-deserved holiday in the US.

The gorgeous actress let her hair down and threw caution to the winds during the US holiday with her friends. Without caring a hoot for being recognized by anyone, she went on long walks on the American streets.

She also got in a mood to dance while at a local night club and ended up doing Salsa on the dance floor. Such spirited was Vidya’s jig that those who saw her could not stop complimenting her.

Vidya Balan posed in western blistering outfit for the cover page of a magazine which she wished her father did not get to see. She said that many top ladies of Bollywood did not use the short cut method of getting vulgar on screen to get famous and she also wanted to be like them.

Vidya faced the allegations from opponents for being poor in judging dresses and fashion. But recently Vidya walked on ramp in New York for collecting funds for the treatment of people suffering from cancer and the actress was praised by her critics. Vidya got negative reviews when she walked on ramp during the release of “Salaam-Ae-Isque.”

Uday Chopra, son of veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra and brother of Aditya Chopra, hasn’t had the best in his acting career, except for the DHOOM series to his credit.

But that hasn’t put him off from Bollywood, it is learnt that the actor is all set to bounce back into action with comedy king David Dhawan’s upcoming flick HOOK YA CROOK. If the reports are to be believed than Uday’s character in this film would be on the similar lines to that of his DHOOM one. Even here Uday will play a sidekick to the lead actor. John Abraham has been signed to play the lead actor of this comic caper. It is heard that Vidya Balan has also been roped to play John Abraham’s love interest in the film while the onscreen ladylove for Uday is yet to be finalized.

Those who believe no dress, no matter how revealing, can make Vidya Balan look hot, better think twice.

Vidya, who has received flak more often than not for her dressing sense, is out to prove her critics wrong. She already silenced many of them last month by doing a superhot photo-shoot for fashion magazine FHM.

Now, the gorgeous belle is said to have decided to take care of her styling with meticulous dedication. Perhaps that is why Aki Narula was dropped as her designer from Aziz Mirza’s project Kismat Konnection because Ms. Balan was apparently not happy with some of the outfits he gave her.

AstroCAMP.com, Today I was reading analysis of Vidya Balan’s birth chart by astrologer Sameer Upadhyay in daily news paper Hindustan. The point that attracted me is the time of birth. Sameer ji mentioned date of birth as 1st January 1978 whereas Wikipedia and Vidya Balan’s official website mention her date of birth as 1st January 1982. Recently the release of Kismat Konnection added fuel to her date controversy and it has gives me a reason to spend some time on birth time rectification/ verification.
