Search for Vidya Balan online and be prepared for some racy pictures. You will definitely find one of Vidya in a lacy, black bikini or an even more revealing silver number.
Many were shocked by the steamy photos, but no one more than Vidya herself! When asked about her “debut” on Maxim Magazine, she believed someone had made a mistake. She told TOI, “When I heard there was a picture of me in a bikini on a magazine cover, I thought someone was being mistaken for me because I haven’t done a shoot like this. But I was shocked when I saw it. I will be taking proper legal action against the people who are responsible for this.”
The photograph uses photo software to morph an existing picture of Vidya’s face onto the body of someone else. Last December, a similar morphed photo appeared of Sonakshi Sinha on Maxim magazine’s cover. Other actresses to fall victim to this kind of defamation include Khushboo and Celina Jaitly.
Vidya’s introduction into Bollywood was defined by traditional and modest roles. However, after her most recent releases – Ishqiya and No One Killed Jessica, Vidya teeters on that line between bold and controversial and the actress is not stopping there. Her forthcoming projects include the intriguing The Dirty Picture playing Bollywoo’s Silk Smitha.

After Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan has become the latest victim of Photoshop. It has emerged that a picture showing her in a black bikini on the cover of a men’s magazine is a doctored one.
The picture has been doing rounds online, but is clearly a fake one, reports Mid Day.
The magazine has denied featuring Vidya Balan ever on their cover. Also the cover was marked as Annual 2011 issue, which cannot be true as the year has just begun.
Though Vidya Balan was not in town, a source close to the actress told Mid Day that she never did this photoshoot.

If one would have really enjoyed the classic Amitabh Bachchan-Hema Malini starrer ‘Satte Pe Satta’, then they would be equally anticipating for its remake.
The news of Satte Pe Satta’ remake has been going around for sometime. While the new version will be directed by Soham Shah, the role of Big B will be played by Sanjay Dutt. Of late the grapevines are focused on the female leads. It’s heard that charming Vidya Balan is being considered for Hema Malini’s role. On the other hand, hot Bengali babe Bipasha Basu will be roped to play Ranjitha’s character, where she played a wheel-chair bound girl.
Wait, there’s more to this…! Names like Celina Jaitley, Minissha Lamba, Sonal Chauhan, Anjana Sukhani, Rimi Sen and Neha Sharma are being thrown in for the other female leads in the film. Similarly, Arshad Warsi will again be a partner to his Munnabhai co-star Sanjay in the remake.
Besides on the male team Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, and Zayed Khan are said to be thought about. Some sources said that Siddhant, Shakti Kapoor’s son, will debut in this movie and he will do the same character which his dad played in the original….
The film is expected to start its shooting from mid-April in Panchgani.
Hmmmm, this new cast gives us a mixed feeling… What about you?

But engagement though is not on the cards yet. To Vidya Balan, love is when you begin to see yourself in another person’s eyes and you like what you see there. On her recent trip to the city, the actor decodes ‘Ishqiya’
Critical acclaim, commercial success and controversies. All that has been part of Vidya Balan’s life in the recent past. And now, there are also rumours of her getting engaged to corporate honcho Siddharth Roy Kapur — who also happens to be the elder brother of actor Aditya Roy Kapur of “Guzaarish” fame. Kolkatans have even gone to the extent of claiming that since she loves all things Bengali, she has chosen to date someone with a Bengali surname! But, fact is, Siddharth Roy Kapur doesn’t have roots in Bengal and the Roy part of his surname has a Punjab-connect . Vidya, who was in town to promote her commercial with Chandrabindoo, shares her Kahaani.

Will Aishwarya Rai Bachchan topple Vidya Balan in the battle to bag the female lead opposite Sanjay Dutt in the remake of Satte Pe Satta? The two heroines were cast together in Guru, where Ash had a bigger role, but Vidya gave a better performance.
A lot of water has flown under the bridge since then. Ash has a disastrous record opposite Sanju. The 2002 film Hum Kisi Se Kum Nahin, where the two costarred, was a big flop.
And then there was Leena Yadav’s Shabd, another box office disaster. Vidya, on the other hand, has had a good run with Sanju. The first film she did with him, Parineeta, was a critical as well as a commercial success.
Later, Lage Raho Munnabhai was also received extremely well at the box office. Will the makers of the film choose talent over glamour, or cast Ash in the hope of cashing in on her considerable box office clout?
