Uday and Vidya in David’s CROOK?

September 16th, 2008

Uday Chopra, son of veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra and brother of Aditya Chopra, hasn’t had the best in his acting career, except for the DHOOM series to his credit.

But that hasn’t put him off from Bollywood, it is learnt that the actor is all set to bounce back into action with comedy king David Dhawan’s upcoming flick HOOK YA CROOK. If the reports are to be believed than Uday’s character in this film would be on the similar lines to that of his DHOOM one. Even here Uday will play a sidekick to the lead actor. John Abraham has been signed to play the lead actor of this comic caper. It is heard that Vidya Balan has also been roped to play John Abraham’s love interest in the film while the onscreen ladylove for Uday is yet to be finalized.

‘The more women love John, the better I feel’

Bipasha Basu is so hot it’s hard for her not to make news — even if it’s only because she’s sporting a new hairstyle.

With Bipasha, everything spells attitude — the sexy, short bob she got was a clear break from the unwritten Bollywood rule that good girls have long hair.

This actress, much like her character in the upcoming Bachna Ae Haseeno, is her own woman. Her character Radhika in this film is very close to her real self. Bipasha says, “She has come to Mumbai from outside. Forthright and modern, her value system is very much in place. She wants to be successful, but at the same time she wants marriage and a family life.”

David Dhawan’s ‘Hook Ya Crook’ expected to roll in mid-November

They were one of the six pairs in SALAAM-E-ISHQ and now, David Dhawan is planning to bring them together in his next outing called HOOK YA CROOK. John Abraham and Vidya Balan, who made a lovely couple [on screen, obviously!], will essay principal roles in David’s new film.

While John has been confirmed for the main lead, Vidya is yet to sign on the dotted line. Besides, a top star [name withheld since the actor hasn't signed the film] will also appear in a pivotal role. To be produced by UTV, the film is expected to roll in mid-November this year.
