It was last reported that Bipasha and Kareena have buried the hatchet and now we hear that Bipasha has out grown even John’s co-star of Salaam-E-Ishq, with whom he was linked at that time. Recently, when KJo threw a grand party at his residence, it was attended by friends John Abraham, Bipasha Basu, Riteish Deshmukh, Vidya Balan and Rahul Khanna among others. Traveling back in time when John and Vidya were shooting for the above mentioned film, Bips had a problem with Vidya as she was getting close to John which was not acceptable to Bips at all. However, now that Bips is in making up mode she was seen enjoying the party with Vidya.

If film-maker Priyadarshan has his way, you might soon get to see John Abraham and Vidya Balan sizzling on screen together again.

The actors in a still from Salaam-E-Ishq, the last movie John and Vidya worked in together.

The duo was seen together for the first and last time in the film Salaam-E-Ishq in 2007.

While the filming of Salaam-E-Ishq was in progress, rumours of an affair between Vidya and John started doing the rounds. This, in turn, apparently caused a lot of discord in John’s relationship with girlfriend Bipasha Basu. Thereafter, John and Vidya never acted together.

When an outstanding iconic figure like Vidya Balan is overthrowned by a younger actor like Asin is really a hard news to swallow.

As the Bollywood industry knows that Vidya Balan is the first choice in any director’s list is quite shocking to hear that she has been replaced. Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has been supporting education amongst underprivileged girls by helping NGO Nanhi Kali, which currently supports 37,000 girls in urban, rural and tribal areas. She has helped to launch two new animated characters, Fafa and Juno, who will appear on the Spacetoon TV channel and associated merchandising. Spacetoon claims to have 200 million viewers worldwide. Vidya will also be supporting some girls herself through the programme. “I am not comfortable talking about it but yes I do plan to finance the education of a few girls,” she admitted, “It’s amazing how many girls can get educated for a measly sum of money. It’s a small thing to do especially when I have been given so much.”

Bipasha Basu is not in the favor of beau John Abraham to cast opposite Vidya Balan and she is making much effort to encourage John to walk out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Chenab Gandhi’ in which he will be paired opposite Vidya Balan.

We spoke to our source, “Bipasha has been trying her level best to persuade John to step out of the project, but he doesn’t want to back out from this historical venture of Sanjay.

While the film was scheduled to start in April, it has now been postponed to December 2009 because of John’s uncertainty. This delay from John has been on purpose because he still hopes Bipasha would cool down.

John Abraham and Vidya Balan seem to have buried the hatchet. Not that the duo didn’t get along before or something, its just that John’s girlfriend Bipasha was not very comfortable with the couple being paired together in Salaam-E-Ishq and post it.

But as destiny would have it, the two hot stars are back together on screen and what brings them together is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Chenab Gandhi. As against the initial plan, Bhansali has dropped Hurman Baweja and has roped in John for the lead role instead. Interestingly, Chenab Gandhi also stars Vidya Balan as female lead.
It can be recalled that after Salaam-E-Ishq many directors wanted to cash on John-Vidya’s hot chemistry but insecurities on Bipasha’s part had prevented the two stars getting romantically paired on screen.
