Vidya Balan’s appeal is in her eyes. This natural beauty believes in keeping things simple when it comes to taking care of herself.

The quintessential southern beauty when quizzed on her Indian style revealed how she loved wearing ethnic kurtis, jhumkas, and kohl lined eyes.

Vidya is very fond of kajal and she hardly leaves home without it in her eyes. There is a secret to her kajal as well.

Reveals a source close to the star Vidya calls for her Kajal all the way from Pakistan. Whichever brand you put in front of her she will never touch any other kajal except that particular one that comes from Pakistan. She used to import it all the way from Pakistan.

Luckily for Vidya now the brand is available in Delhi and one of her friend sends it to her regularly.  Sources also add that she gets expensive eye cosmetics in form of gifts but she refuses to part with her favourite kajal.

Vidya will be seen in upcoming film ‘Paa’ as a mother of 13-year-old boy who is suffering from unusual illness called Progeria. She has also completed shooting of film ‘Ishqiya’.

“Vidya calls for her Kajal all the way from Pakistan,” says a source close to the star.

She never touches any other brand of kajal except that particular one from Pakistan.

“Luckily for Vidya now the brand is available in Delhi. She keeps getting gifted expensive eye cosmetics but she refuses to part with her favorite kajal,” adds the source.

Vidya will be seen in traditional Indian makeover in her two upcoming releases, Paa and Ishqiya. She is already getting rave reviews for her looks in Paa. Sabyasachi Mukherjee is her designer in the film.

The Kismet Konnection star who lost significant amount of weight in these two films says loosing weight will not tempt her to dress more suggestively on screen or off screen.

“I didn’t lose weight to wear suggestive outfits. I lost weight to feel better about myself. I enjoy wearing Indian clothes,” said Balan.
