Vidya Balan has not agreed to expose for a painting for acclaimed artist M.F. Hussain, says a close friend of the actress.

“The story is fabricated to damage her reputation and it hasn’t gone down well with the actress who has always maintained a dignified stance both in her personal and professional life,” said the friend.
Hussain finds Vidya’s persona especially her face very sensual and cultured and a newspaper reported that she will bare all for his painting.

But Vidya, who will feature in Ekta Kapoor’s “Dirty Pictures”, has always maintained she would take up projects only with an aesthetic sense.

“The news is absolutely hysterical. We are in the month of February and not April. Vidya has always maintained a dignified image and is one of the most respected stars in the industry. The reports are fabricated by parties with vested interests and if ever Vidya does decide to get a painting done, it will strictly be her face. Hope this puts an end to the speculation,” said the friend.

Vidya Balan, the uncharacteristic Bollywood beauty is very close to her family. The actress, who makes a point to bring her mom along with her to most award functions, revealed that she is as closely attached to her sister, as she is to her mother. So much so, that Vidya has a special nickname for her sister Priya, whom she sometimes calls her “Second Mom”.

“A lot of my character in Paa was also inspired by Priya who happens to be my second mother. People often tease me saying your mother and sister are so beautiful what happened to you .But then they are also quick to add – after all beauty is as beauty does,” said Vidya.

Interestingly though, Vidya has managed to so impress M F Hussain with her unconventional beauty, that the painter is not only dying to capture the “earthy Indian-ness” of Vidya’s beauty on his canvas, but also looking forward to do his next film with the actress.

It seems after Madhuri Dixit and Amrita Rao, it is desi girl, Vidya Balan’s turn to play the role of M.F.Hussain’s muse. Reportedly Hussain was mesmerized by Vidya’s individuality and dignity and impressed by her no-fuss natural beauty.

Apparently Hussain recently watched Vidya Balan’s super hit movie Ishqiya and was smitten by her “indianness”. According to him, Vidya epitomizes the perfect Indian ‘desi’ woman.

The renowned artist confirmed that he took the pains to watch most of Vidya’s movies like Ishqiya, Parineeta and Pa and was pretty impressed by her. According to him Vidya is one woman who knows her mind and had managed to impress him without any amount of skin-show. Buzz is that Vidya might now be Hussain’s leading lady in his next directorial project scheduled for 2011.
