Well history was made yesterday, no I’m not alluding to the successful launch of the Chandryaan mission, but to the fact that CNN IBN featured a half hour special on all the scientists involved in the mission. Why history? because it was probably the longest, unbridled footage of South Indians on mainstream television, since well, Kamal Hassan sang mere jeevan sathi, to serenade Rati Agnihotri in Ek Dooje Ke liya on Doordarshan (as an aside, should I get myself examined because I actually remember this thing??) . I’m not kidding about this. All the scientists that were featured were South Indians and no where in this footage did people make fun of the way South Indians spoke, walked, danced, oiled their hair etc etc. To say, I was stunned would be an understatement. I was infact most suspicious of the whole thing and was quite sure that a Sardarji would pop out in the end and say chak de phatte and make fun of the way “madrasees” ate pappads or washed their bums or whatever mannerism of ours that people find peculiar, even if it was rocket science that we were talking about.

Madhavan, the sweet chocolate boy, Maddy for young girls, says that there is no secret relationship between him and actress Vidya Balan.

Madhavan says in an interview, “There is no secret relationship between us. She is my close friend… thats all… Our onscreen chemistry is working out well in all our films. Now also we are working together in a Hindi film…”

Replying to a question about his next release in Tamil, he told, “Guru En Aalu is my next release. Actually the film was planned for Deepavali but after reviewing the situation, the producer has postponed it for another two weeks.”

The ‘hot’ couple of the tinsel town, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are selling like ‘hot’ cakes in the brand endorsement market. After signing the famous Head & Shoulders shampoo ad, they have bagged the coveted Airtel advertisement.

Earlier, Vidya Balan and Madhavan sizzled in the Airtel ad with their onscreen chemistry and now our ‘Chote Nawab’ and ‘Bebo’ will be seen sharing sweet-nothings onscreen.

According to a source, “Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are the hottest couple when it comes to brand endorsements. They’ve been paid a whopping amount to come together for these two brands. They will shoot for the Head & Shoulders ad soon.”

The shy pair Vidya Balan and Madhavan touched the nerve of the audience with their Airtel ad and looking at their sizzling chemistry, the duo has been roped by director Raj Kaushal for his upcoming flick. The way Vidya and Madhavan brought out their sensuousness and passion in a small duration ad definitely deserves huge round of applause.

Both share a remarkable chemistry and looking at those factors Raj who has registered some recent flop like Anthony Kaun Hai and Shaadi Ka Laddoo has decided to put money on the couple. Raj is quite optimistic about his upcoming venture and started polishing the draft script. Vidya and Madhavan are quite impressed with the idea of the comedy flick and have given their nod.
