vidya-balan2May be Vidya Balan’s magic must have first happened to work upon the Censor Board before getting into effect with the public. Such a kind of thing is rare in Bollywood, though finally the film was certified as ‘A’.

Well atleast a limitation has been measured for the film, which surely does not suit the sense of those below ‘A’. Finally Arshad Warsi,Vidya Balan and Naseruddin Shah starrer has come out clean.
The director Abhishek Chaubhey to his surprise added, “Frankly, I expected I’d be asked for some kind of an explanation for the language and content and why they were necessary. I had gone prepared with dossiers on every graphic word and shot. To my surprise, I wasn’t asked for any explanation. I was given an ‘Adults’ certificate with no cuts at all. I guess it’s a sign of how far censorship has come in our country.”

The film depicts about life in Uttar Pradesh and the way which people in the small North Indian towns live their life according to the director.

Keeping this to perspective the director was not harassed with further questions and he added, “ So I didn’t have problem of receiving the ‘A’ certificate. However he clarifies that the language is not as bold as it is assumed and also isn’t about creating shock value either. It’s the way the people in the small North Indian towns live their life..”
The film produced by Raman Maroo and Vishal Bharadwaj and ‘Ishqiya’ is to release soon on Jan 29.

Well it not Abhishek is suprised that Censor Board did not ran their scissors upon the bold and expletives steamy scenes and gave him a ‘A’ Certificate instead, remaining cool with the content.

Well Balan when you have burned up Censor Board first, what they can burn your film scenes later.

sensuous-beauty-vidya-balan-wallpaperBollywood actress Vidya Balan has been supporting education amongst underprivileged girls by helping NGO Nanhi Kali, which currently supports 37,000 girls in urban, rural and tribal areas. She has helped to launch two new animated characters, Fafa and Juno, who will appear on the Spacetoon TV channel and associated merchandising. Spacetoon claims to have 200 million viewers worldwide. Vidya will also be supporting some girls herself through the programme. “I am not comfortable talking about it but yes I do plan to finance the education of a few girls,” she admitted, “It’s amazing how many girls can get educated for a measly sum of money. It’s a small thing to do especially when I have been given so much.”

Kerala-born Vidya has a remarkably busy schedule ahead of her this year, including some fascinating films such as Ishqiya with Naseruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi and Chenab Gandhi. This latter film stars Amitabh Bachchan and is about the Pashtun pacifist and freedom fighter Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, often referred to as the Frontier Gandhi. It’s rumoured that John Abraham might play the role of the younger Khan.

Vidya is also having a whale of a time at the moment shooting for Pa which includes both father and son Bachchans. “I have been shooting for Pa. We did a shooting schedule in Mumbai and outside it had Mr Bachchan and Abhishek. They’re keeping me busy,” she confirms.
