Dabur has appointed actress Vidya Balan as its brand ambassador for the skin care product called Dabur Vveda. Balan started her career as a model in Surf Excel advertisement and has appeared in more than 25 ad films like Ponds, Bajaj, Surf, Toshiba, Airtel etc.

Before getting a break in Bollywood, she also acted in a few music videos with Euphoria, Shubha Mudgal, Pankaj Udhas etc. as well as TV serials such as Hanste Khelte and Hum Paanch. Balan has come a long way and has done some of the much talked about films like Parineeta, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Guru, Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love, Eklavya: The Royal Guard, Heyy Babyy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Halla Bol and Kismat Konnection.

There is something that Vidya Balan (right) is crazy about apart from films. And that is her share of masala chai.

Vidya needs her daily dose of masala tea at regular intervals, especially, when she is shooting.

The actress is currently shooting for R Balki’s Pa in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is badly missing her masala chai on the sets. A source from the production said, “Vidya missed having tea so badly that she went restaurant hopping desperately to find a joint that served the typical cutting chai.

Vidya Balan is on a high and she has all the reasons for being high. Vidya is currently shooting for “Pa”, and guess what she is shooting with her favourite two co stars. Vidya is feeling honoured sharing screen space with Amitabh and Abhishek together, she also can’t stop thanking Balki, who thought she would be perfect to star in the movie. A friend of Vidya’s said, “Vidya is having a great time shooting with Balki and the Bachchans. She is overwhelmed and is thanking Balki who thought she would be perfect for the role. Vidya has really been working hard and now she has proved that she is the superstar to be looked upto.”
The whole cast crew is having a ball of a time shooting for the movie. There is great atmosphere around and Vidya is having her best time of her life.
