Oi oi.. what is this I’m hearing subah subah now? A khabru has called to inform me that Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan have reconnected again, over text messages. Yeh aur baat hai that he messages her more than she replies to him.
Kyun? Kyunki Viddy still hasn’t gotten over their jhagda patties after Kismet Konnection, when she got maha upset with him for shooting his mouth off and saying things he should not have, reveals my informer.
Never mind if they happened to start messaging by accident — reportedly Shahid sent a message to Vidya instead of Vishal Bharadwaj, the actor is trying to manao her ever since.
But according to my jasoos, Viddy B reverts to him only once in a while and is keeping safe distance instead of being too friendly. Chalo badhya hai. So what if it’s so very theek hai, zyada paka mat, I tell you.

vidya-balan-escapes-scissors-cut-19873Vidya Balan has been characterized as the girl-next-door since she entered the industry. She’s always been the sweet, mature woman you’d want your parents to see you bring home. However, we also know she’s proven her versatility as an actress. In Abhishek Choubey’s directorial debut Ishqiya, Vidya Balan dons the role of a woman who’s well aware of her power over men.

vidya-balan2May be Vidya Balan’s magic must have first happened to work upon the Censor Board before getting into effect with the public. Such a kind of thing is rare in Bollywood, though finally the film was certified as ‘A’.

Well atleast a limitation has been measured for the film, which surely does not suit the sense of those below ‘A’. Finally Arshad Warsi,Vidya Balan and Naseruddin Shah starrer has come out clean.
The director Abhishek Chaubhey to his surprise added, “Frankly, I expected I’d be asked for some kind of an explanation for the language and content and why they were necessary. I had gone prepared with dossiers on every graphic word and shot. To my surprise, I wasn’t asked for any explanation. I was given an ‘Adults’ certificate with no cuts at all. I guess it’s a sign of how far censorship has come in our country.”

Vidya Balan’s drunken ways

An avowed teetotaler, Vidya Balan had to play drunk for the song ‘Ibn Batuta’ in her upcoming film Ishqiya which marks for her a radical departure from the image of a demure, elegant woman Vidya has made for herself in B-town.

The song, canned last month, has all three, Vidya, Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah, carousing to the beats of Vishal Bharadwaj’s perky composition.

Pretending to be sloshed was one of the easiest things Vidya has had to do for ‘Ishqiya’. She mouthed desi, vulgar expletives and even shot a steamy scene with Arshad.

Ishqiya has a strong storyline and has a brilliant cast consisting of Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi. The Censor Board this time has raised a concern over the language of the film. They made it amply clear about some compromise with the language has to be made in order to get a ‘U/A’ certificate!

vidya-balan-wallpaper1After playing an ideal mother in “Paa”, Vidya Balan says she is ready to surprise audiences with a completely different avatar in forthcoming movie “Ishqiya”. She will be seen as a conniving, scheming woman in Vishal Bharadwaj’s dark drama.

“For the first time I’ll be playing a woman who is conniving, scheming and in whom there is a sexual aggression,” Vidya told IANS in an interview.

“She is an aggressive person. She is someone who is unapologetic about her own choices. Bold is the word I’ll use for the lack of a better word. In the Indian context, she would be Rambha, Durga or Kali. She is someone who is dressed from top to toe but oozes sensuality,” the actress said.

And now imagine her discomfort when she had to mouth the choicest of desi expletives for her role of a rural girl in the upcoming movie Ishqiya.

“Oh! I was very apprehensive while using those slangs. I have never used them in my real life but I had to because the script demanded. When you will see this movie, you will understand that it is justified. The movie belongs to a certain terrain where slangs are part of their lingo,” Vidya is quoted to have said in an interview.

Vidya Balan is compensating for lack of skin show by smooching on screen. She kissed Rishi madhavan passionately in Guru, and now, in her upcoming film Ishqiya she has a scene with Arshad Warsi.

The actress who is desperate for a hit has gone the whole hog in this Vishal Bharadwaj film. She is not only kissing and exposing herself, Vidya has also done a negative character in the film.

Indeed a film to watch out for multiple reasons!
